We did not stay this time, but had a delicious lunch. April 5-Course Tasting Menu was great, very well chosen and perfectly cooked. Served with great charm and good wine selection too, as always. We had a wonderful drive over to Yarrow from Peebles and back again. Always a lovely experience, excellent food and warm welcome.

We had a delightful wedding anniversary lunch here. Set in a remote spot in the Yarrow Valley, yet accessible from the main Borders’ towns, it felt like a real getaway. Oxana’s service was friendly and attentive. The menu is varied and it was hard to choose from all the delicious sounding dishes. Bryn’s cooking is excellent with a focus on local, fresh ingredients, simply but well cooked. The Selkirk Bannock Bread Pudding was a special delight. As the menu changes each month, we think it might be our new monthly habit. Thank you, we will be back.

What a lovely little spot. We stayed here as it was campervan friendly and the menu was locally produced and very reasonably priced. They advised us where a quiet place to park for the night would be and the hostess made some excellent drinks and wine choices throughout the evening. The menu was carefully thought through, with a little garden outside fuelling courses, we really enjoyed our evening (especially the whisky pairings)!

Wow what a place from the welcoming to the goodbyes we felt right at home. Amazing food & drinks. Hospitality was next to none.. Bedroom was lovely and clean - location was peaceful & the views are breathtaking. Thank you for an amazing 2 nights.. we can wait to return

The Gordan Arms Restaurant in The Yarrow Valley is outstanding. The moment you walk in the door you feel so important and cared for. The food is delicious we have eaten there many times and every time our experience had been pure perfection. The setting is warm and inviting, the staff are very professional and very friendly. We have stayed many times in the rooms which are Beautifully furnished and comfortable and our dogs were treated like royalty. It is our favourite place to eat in the Borders and we hope to have many more wonderful experiences there in the years to come.

The Gordon Arms with rooms in the Yarrow Valley Selkirk is the perfect place to stay. It is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable rooms, delicious menu that caters for all dietary requirements a great wine list . The Owners Oxana and Bryn are welcoming, warm and charming. Situated in unspoilt countryside it is the perfect place to spend a few days. We would highly recommend.

Bryn & Oxana have done wonderful things at Gordon Arms. Simple (and most importantly) local ingredients cooked to perfection with minimum fuss. The lunch and dinner menu is tremendous value for the quality on offer. Even though we're only 20 minutes away we've talked about staying a night just to eat and spend time in the very cute bar area. This is the best food we've tasted in the Borders. 10/10.
